Silo - A Tumblr Theme

This is the site for Silo- the Tumblr theme you see here by paul giacherio. I also use it on my own tumblr at paulgiacherio.tumblr.com

I’ve tried to test the theme out in multiple browsers, but if you find any bugs or experience any quirks in using Silo, please email me at: paulgiacherio @ gmail.com

Tips

1. Be brief. (writing too much will break the layout)
2. All the posts with images are in fact “photo” posts. This may not fit your needs.
3. Some content types don’t have a “title” field (photo, audio, video). To create a fake title for those content types, put a title in the caption field on it’s own line and style it BOLD. It will mimic the H1 style.
4. The permalink pages will show where the post was reblogged from, if it’s a reblogged post. See it here »
5. The post tags are displayed on the permalink pages in hopes that they one day do something.

Instructions:

1. Download the siloTheme.txt file
2. Go to your Tumbr dashboad and click on the Cusomize gear
3. Click the “Themes” Tab and click the “Use custom HTML”
4. Copy the contents of siloTheme.txt and paste it into the custom HTML field
5. Click “Save Changes”
